I watched The Departed and School for Scoundrels. Both were good. The Departed features an all-star cast of Leo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson and Mark Wahlberg. It also features Martin Sheen and Alec Baldwin.

School for Scoundrels stars Billy Bob Thornton and Napoleon Dynamite.

i thought the Departed was good, up till the final scene. classic Scorsese, but unimaginitive none-the-less.

Running with Scissors is something else. If it wasn't a true story it would be unbelievable. It had some very funny moments but not enough because it wasn't a very funny story. The shrine scene makes it worth watching.

What about Mark Wahlberg? I don't think he had a straight line in the movie. He just hurled graphic confrontational insults at everyone. Turns out he was invincible!

Running with scissors was the most boring movie I have seen in a long time. The first time I tried to watch it, I fell asleep. The second time, I dozed off a couple of times toward the end.

It was just weird and I was shocked to look at the cover and see it was a comedy....I can't think of anything I thought was very funny!

Bummer. I can't wait to watch it, but these are the kind of movie I just love. Dry, dark humor. Not everyone's cup of tea.

Any of you seen The Squid and The Whale? That was a pretty freaky movie. I do recommend Thank You For Smoking, Employee of the Month(Matt Damon version) and A History of Violence. Shopgirl was alright too, but nothing special.

That's pretty much what I meant with Shopgirl. It was good, but not great. Worth the rent though. I laughed my butt off with TYFS, but TS&TW was just bizarre. :p
