State Farm dropped me a couple years ago....it was auto insurance. They then called me back and told me I could get back on with them for $495......

They did the same thing in Texas six years ago. When I moved back to Texas from Mississippi and bought a house, I wanted to stay with State Farm but they had just suspended selling new homeowners policies and I had to go with another company. At the time it was due to mold claims.
