Which do you prefer?

My musical interest really goes all over the place... Some country's cool (not a lot of today's though, I like mostly the older stuff)... I also like "Texas Music", going anywhere from Waylon, Cash, Jerry Jeff Walker, Billy Joe Shafer (sp?) all the way to the new ones like Cory Morrow etc...

But I placed my vote for Alternative, that's what I listen to most of the time I guess...

I know what ya mean about the new country. Nothing beats good ol Conway, George Jones, and George Strait.

You forgot my two favorites, Christian and Jazz.

You also left off my favorite, "oldies rock". Hard to beat the pioneers. Eric Burden and the Animals, Rolling Stones, Creedance Clearwater, Elvis Presley, Paul Revere and the Raiders, The Monkeys, Cream, and many more. wink

When you say alternative, it means groups like, Creed, Staind, Our Lady Peace, Linkin Park, Rage Against the Machine, Cold Play, Goo Goo Dolls, 12 Stones, Evanescence, Matchbox 20, etc......just to name a few. In other words, Alternative Rock!

I gotta go with country music. The older the better...I forgot to add that I do like rap, alternative and rock..

I had a hard time choosing just one...my favorites are classic rock, country, some alternative...no rap, no R&B!!

I like the old country myself, but I also like to crank up the stereo and listen to some good ole hard rock-n-roll when I'm rollin down the highway sometimes.

FYI, Rage against the Machine broke up. A couple of them combined with the old Sound Garden and made the group Audio Slave. Great Band!!

I'm a R&B person at home. I prefer country at work. R&B gets me focused, country gets me going.

I remember they had a concert in SA. back in '99. I wanted to go to it so bad but ended up not going because I was broke. I remember saying I will go next time, and next time never came. I listed them because Buccaneer asked for examples of alternative rock. So I listed a few that I like and that many others would know of. Auto Slave is not that big and never will be. IMHO
P.S. Everyone expect Zack(obviously), and the Singer from Sound Garden, make up Auto Slave.
