I'm 6'1 and all of my sons are taller. The baby is 17 and 6'5 now. The other 3 are 28, 27, and 23. I guess all my hobbies have been on hold for most of the last 10 years.

Things I have done:

I trained and competed with Bird dogs for years and won numerous state dog of the year awards and won National dog of the year once. I deer, dove, and quail hunt. I love dove and quail hunting. Kinda burned out on deer right now.

Things I still do:

I love golf and play terrible. Could be better but no time to practice. I fish with my brother and friends for bass and crappie. I have won a few bass tournaments too.

I love smoked oysters and can fart better than anyone who ever lived. Put me in a room of professional farters and I blow up their olfactory senses with my masterful handle of scents. I make skunks bow before me and make them steal gummy bears for kicks and grins.

I like participating in full-contact origami, bullfighting, and cliff-diving. Using only a hoe and a large glass of water, I once single-handedly defended a small village in the Amazon Basin from a horde of ferocious army ants. I play bluegrass cello, I was scouted by the Mets, I am the subject of numerous documentaries. When I'm bored, I build large suspension bridges in my yard. I enjoy urban hang gliding. On Wednesdays, after school, I repair electrical appliances free of charge. Children trust me.

I play golf and guitar...neither one very well, but I'm a work in progress.;)

I also like to enjoy a frosty cold adult beverage (or ten) with friends.

Plus, I obviously love Texas high school football....

I'm a closet soccer fan. It's actually my favorite sport to play and was my best sport in HS.

I have bad knees and a bad back and am only 26 years old.

I take that back on the soccer comment. My favorite sports all involve the water. Surfing, skiing, whatever. I actually just love being out on the water. Could care less what I'm doing.

I enjoy watching most high school sports - now we're watching Johnny play golf in his senior year. I am (we are) getting ready to have a life altering change in my/our life with the youngest of our sons(of 3) graduating from high school and heading off to college - I am 48 yrs old and have been raising kids since I was 17 - it's going to be SO WEIRD not having some extra-curricular activity to go to. We do have an 11 and 7 year old granddaughters who live in town, so I am sure we'll keep busy watching them in their endeavors....

I used to hide behind corners and doors and jump out and scare people. One day, some people wised up about me jumping out at them going into the portable building and wouldn't get scared. Did that stop me? Hell no, I sat a pot of sunflowers in front of the door, and when they opened the door and stared in wonder at the bouquet, I would jump out at them and scare them. I ruled.

I have been here for almost 5 years..(that's just unbelievable to me)....I am married to a VERY understanding guy, who lets me run all over the state (and beyond) with my downlow friends to watch games!! I have 5 kids....3 of my own and 2 step-sons and a grandbaby (supposedly a girl) on the way. My oldest (21 next month) moved back home to go back to school and pursue a veterinarian degree...I have decided I will never suffer from empty nest syndrome because I don't think they are ever going to leave!!:)

I love High School football, College football and Pro football...in that order. I love to watch track meets and am upset that I probably won't be able to go to the State Track meet this year....that is right around the time the grandbaby is due.

I don't watch much TV, but watch American Idol faithfully. I actually watched "House" last night, since it came on right after AI, it was pretty good, I have to admit.

I have made some good friends on here, several that I consider GREAT friends that I can tell anything to.

PPHSFan called me last week and asked me what I was doing....when I told him me and daughter were playing Guitar Hero he laughed and said, "you are such a kid". :p

I am 43, but probably don't always act like I am....my kids are all grown, out of school, and don't need me to watch over them 24/7...maybe I have regressed. Either way, I have fun, act crazy at times and my family and friends love me the way I am!!:D

My dad was a coach, I coach (or thats my profession anyway), my brother coaches, my son coaches. Maybe too much info for the anonymity that I try to keep on here. Family football record for last season...17-17...I guess we suck as coaches, or the younger 3 of us anyway...Dad retired...laughing.

I'm 27. I have been posting on here for 5 years. Went to school in Commerce at East Texas State (thats for you buffy) and graduated with a degree in Journalism. I worked in radio for a while and realized I am not a salesperson and to make it in small market radio you have to be a salesperson! Started teaching and coaching and have ever since. I'm certified in Texas in 8-12 English and Language Arts, 4-8 Social Studies and All-Level Physical Education. I coached in Sulphur Springs for 3 years and am now in the metroplex and love it. I grew up in Southeast Dallas but moved to Forney in 7th grade to be a Jackrabbit!

I am married to a beautiful woman named Amanda. We have one kid....Chewy.

Well...lets see. I am 24, married to txbroadcaster (for 4 years). Together we have 6 adopted kids--5 cats, and 1 dog. :D Much like Kao, I too graduated from East Texas State, ;) with a B.S. in Psychology.

I decided Psychology was not the route for me, and decided Social WOrk was...however...now I am working as a Petroleum Landman. Go figure.

I love my job when the business is great, and right now its not....so get those heaters running people!

My talent, I guess, would be my jewelry-making.

I don't look my age, and I hope I never will, and I certainly don't act my age, and I hope I never do.

And, I love to read anything by Stephen King and Chuck Palahniuk.

AND...I want to get back into Kung **. I haven't practiced since HS. :(

My life is a puzzle...want to know more, just ask. :)

Terry eats it with everything too....you are not alone.

I went to a BBQ place here in Nac (I work in Nac), and they did not have ranch.

WTH, mate?

You don't have ranch?

I am sorry but any restaurant in the state of Texas should by law have Ranch. Period.

Its Un-Texan to not have ranch in a business establishment. Period.

So now, when I go there (they have GREAT BBQ), I have to sneak in a bottle of ranch. No lie! I cannot and will not have a baked potatoe w/o ranch!!:hand:

I had one of my pictures used in a report that went to every congressman and the President.

I had another one used for a CD cover but it was a local thing. I still thought it was cool.

I'm married and became a dad for the first time 2 months ago at age 37. Coach called and said WestTx, Jr. is a projected starter for the (Greenwood) Rangers, 2023 edition. (I tried to paste a pic of him here, but couldn't figure it out.)

I'm a Monahans HS, Angelo State and Tech law grad.

I have prosecuted fed cases for a number of years; mostly drug traffickers (many of whom are bringing it in from MX through West Texas), but also child pornographers, alien smugglers, fraudsters, etc. I enjoy doing that and get to see lots of cool stuff (and occasionally get a security detail to and from the house during "high security" trials.) Also worked in DC for a year at the Dept of Justice as an advisor on drug, immigration and other matters. Saw lots of cool stuff there, too.
