You should have made her your friend too, with benefits.

Happy for the little bro, Adidas. Congrats to him.

One of my fondest college football memories is associated with the great legendary Halloween night 1959 kick return of Billy Cannon of LSU against Ole Miss in which he broke 7 tackles on his way 84 yds to the end zone. I was listening to that game "live'. Your brother will find out all about LSU vs Ole Miss very soon, and will never forget going to "Death Valley" at LSU.

ok this stinks...

I just looked at Ole Miss' 2007 schedule and the two homes I would want to go to:

Oct 13 vs Alabama
Nov 17 vs LSU

Then I go double check Tech's schedule (since we're buying season tickets):

Oct 13 vs Texas A&M
Nov 17 vs BlowU

grrrrrr :( :( :(

ok ok...the Saturday, Sept 22nd game against Florida might not be too bad either! ;)

The Florida/Ole Miss will be costly I am sure....I think I would try to sell my Tech seats for one game to cover your gas expenses. Of course, you should probably consult with your brother...

Maybe we should let him get enrolled, moved etc.....:D

I know that last fall tickets to Tennessee/LSU were only $35/each at face value...though the pricing is probably different from state to state. I know at Florida you couldn't buy a single game ticket for the South Carolina, LSU, and somebody else. We'll just have to wait and see. If I go to a game I'd probably just fly to Memphis or Tupolo and then drive into town since there is no airport in Oxford! :(

The LSU/Ole Miss (Nov. 17) is the weekend before Thanksgiving...your brother might be headed home before that one...

In 2008 they won't have Florida, Bama, or LSU at home. As long as the Tennessee or Georgia games aren't the same weekend as Texas in 2008...that will likely be the next road trip. I promised him that I would come to one game a year if he went to an out of state school. You could be a good Dumbo and come along. It's only about an 8 hour (500 mile) drive from DFW to Oxford! ;)

Did he call you yet???

Yeah, and it's only about 300 miles from Lubbock to Dallas. Let's do some math shall we? 300+500=800 X 2 = 1600 miles in 3 days. Yeah, let's DEFINITELY do that. I'll just fly there and you can pick me up . . . Southwest baby. Yeah, he called me a little while ago.
