This weeks product test is Disney's PizzOmelette.

Forget the funky name or obvious reference, this is one serious health food aimed at health-conscious 5 to 10 year olds. It comes in 2 flavors, Double Cheese and Vegetarian Pepperoni. Yum.:) It's a 100% all egg white product for the crust with a soy/cheese blend for the topping. The pepperoni is soy based so your kids can eat to their hearts content with a healthy attitude.
Here we see the pizzomelette in it's pre-cooked frozen state.

A little lifeless no doubt but after 1:45 minutes of cooking time...

you can see the pizzomelette tantalize you with it's healthy goodness.
.
Watch in joy as your kids fight over a breakfast food that's as healthy as it is good. With only 2 grams of saturated fat and 1 gram of trans fat per serving to boot! *screams in joy*
At only 97 cents for 2 pizzomelettes, I think this finally shows us that Disney truly cares about us and the health of our children. You can find this product in the frozen breakfast section at your local Wal-Mart.
I'll give the Disney PizzOmelette 2 stars for making such a "healthy" product and add 1/2 star for Disney caring sooo much.
2.5 out of 4 stars!
mmmmmmmmm Thanks Disney! :D

I don't have any kids 5-10 years old.

I think if I brought that home, they would laugh at me!!

Sounds interesting, but I'd like to know the following:

*Calories
*Cholesterol
*Sodium
*Protein
*Carbohydrates

Sounds like a steal at $0.97.

Beyond that the true test is....

*how does it taste?

I have a 10 year old that could live on pizza, so I would give it 3 stars if it tastes good. Regardless of it's nutritional value and how many of them I buy....IF IT DOESN'T TASTE GOOD (or what kids expect pizza to taste like), THEY WON'T EAT IT.

Both my kids love it and would kill me if they knew I only gave it 2.5 out of 4 stars.
To me it's OK. The "pepperoni" is soy/tofu based and not a bad job actually, considering what it's made from. My 12 yr old snickers every time we have these for breakfast. It seems he has trouble pronouncing his Z's on occasion. But he eats it up... lol
.
It taste somewhat like pizza but you can tell the "crust" is made of eggs. And that's not a bad thing for breakfast.:)
If you have a kid or adult who likes ketchup on their eggs, this is a slam dunk. Otherwise, it's gonna be more 50-50 on those who think that is gross.:)
