That is great. Met Dat when he came to Corpus Christi. He is a great person and really belongs in the Cowboy organization.

ive been corrected....there isnt a set date and there are some meets this weekend. Weird deal.....

The thing is though you an only compete in a certain number of meets. Most schools save those meets for later in the season after kids have gotten into running shape!

Dat Nguyen, Wes Phillips Hired To Staff
Head coach Wade Phillips announced two coaching hires Tuesday night: Former Cowboys linebacker Dat Nguyen as assistant linebackers coach/quality control; and Phillips' son, Wes, as offensive assistant/quality control on offense. The Cowboys also interviewed Titans receivers coach Ray Sherman on Tuesday.

I love "quality control" has become the latest job title in football. It's so PC...

Who Dat?

I met Dat in 1999 at training camp and was shocked to see he only weighed like 223 lbs. Pound for pound, one of the hardest hitters I've ever seen.

Big word for game planning/film breakdown/position tapes, etc. Basically entry level position for new coaches to learn the ropes.
