Congratulations to coach Jackson, one of the nicest coaches around. I don't know coach Nelms personally, but he coaches my buddy Wimberly pro's team.

I talked to Coach Jackson on Wednesday and he was both humle and excited to be chosen for the game. He was really excited about being able to be around some of the best high school players in the state (and nation as well)!

its during the annual THSCA Covention which is in the summer. I believe its in July

convention is July 29 - August 1 so I guess game will be on that Saturday

July 29 is a Sunday, isn't the game usually on Tuesday night so that would make the game on July 31....

Ohhh yeah anytime the game is in Fort Worth, I'm there!! I may even make the basketball game...I just need to talk you into going to the Oil Bowl....I can think of a player you guys should nominate for that game

i am hoping we get antuan in the THSCA all star game but maybe not. Im guessing that Turner will make it. Who knows. Turner is already in the Oil bowl game if im not mistaken

Sweet! Does that mean we'll see you in Wichita Falls??

I think there is at least one Everman guy who is being looked at for both games..maybe 2 for the Oil Bowl..

If Logan gets selected Texas will have two great QBs as Allen's Nathan Dick will be on the Texas team also..

Well hey they won't just have one QB....I bet both Logan and Casey Dick will be in the game...

The selection committee is totally difernt from the coaching staff....the coaches have input on what they want...but not on who is picked.

That is a good thing IMO, they may/may not get who they want, but...don't get the heat for not choosing a particular kid.

From what I was told the North will choose from distrtics 1-16 and the South from 17-32.....So basically is is Rgion 1 and 2 vs. 3 and 4...and each class (1A-5A)...will have representation.

I may have to "Burn" a vacation day or 2 to see the game this year!
