Motorola Sliver?

Any of you have this? Good phone?

I have cingular service and I want a new phone, mine is an LG and nothing special at all... got it quick and in a hurry because I fell out of the boat with my other phone in my pocket about a year ago...

deal is my contract isn't up for another year, but I want the phone now...

good or bad investment ($300 with $50 mail-in rebate)?

how much does the internet service for that phone usually run you?

and does the battery hold up well?

Duh, can't purchase it on cingular.com without contract... shopped at motorola.com and it's 199 there... schweet..

I want a new phone too. I really like the sidekick, but all the sidekicks on Ebay are for tmobile. :confused: Can you use them for other carriers or just tmobile?

does it say as to whether or not the phone is "unlocked" or "unlocked GSM"???

if it is "unlocked", that means it can be used on any carrier in the US (from what I know)...

if it says "for T-Mobile" then most-likely you can only use it with T-Mobile service...

and does the battery hold up well? i have unlimited service but my job pays for it;) , battery holds up for at least 5 hours if i am on internet for 5 hours straight. it gets internet service anywhere. This one i have is actually a little slower proccessor than the one had before. i had 460 mhz pocket pc this one is 200 mhz.

I listen to classic rewind, hair nation, buzzsaw, big time 80's or whatever and a bunch of other classic stations. I love it! :)

Great thing about Sirius is they have a TON of non mainstream radio..music and talk wise.

I just bought the new Motorola KRZR!!!! Haven't time to play with it yet but it looks sweet!!! You're right about the Pearl it is freakin' sweet!!! But I have no need for a PDA so I didn't get it!!!

Slivers are good phones...

I'm partial to those over the Razors because Slivers have ITunes so that's a huge bonus.
