Coach Edelman will be named as the new head coach at Bay City according to the DMN's David McNabb

seems odd to me that he would get the nod over the other 2 finalists

I wonder if anyone asked why he left Kaufman in 2004

I "heard" that the committee was split over the other 2 and compromised by going with the other guy. Dont jump on my case here because I really dont know that I believe this, it is just what I heard from someone.

That would be bad if that was what really happened. But the bottom line is the supt caught alot of flake over his last pick i would think they would be more careful on who they choose this time.If you get a chance bu 97 will you post the tigers track schedule & track resuts. With the track being worked on are you going to host the tiger realys this year?

I think Bay City was looking for a TAKS master who could coach football instead of an Athletic Director. If they were looking for an AD, Mitchell would have been their man, but it is all water under the bridge now.

Edelman is a great football coach. He will be a great AD as well. He is a proven winner.

He runs the spread offense, and runs a 4 man front or 4-2-5 on defense.
