I e-mailed Weslaco's coach to try and do an interview with him...haven't gotten a response yet

Keep trying. He's kind of an abrasive guy. He's rubbed some other coaches the wrong way at WHS.

Didn't get to watch all of it, but from what I see, defenses really geared up to stop him this year, with minimal success. On his Sophomore highlight video he ran roughshod through (and around) defenses, rarely being touched. It looked like he had to work a bit harder for his yards this past season.
