I'm proud to see they kept their scholarship for Matt Nader. Now that is classy on Mack and the University of Texas.

Either way, they took a bad situation for a kid who loved the game and made something really positive for him. They didn't have to honor their offer by any means, but they did, so that just shows the integrity and character that the coaching staff at UT has.

Kinne's dad was given a job at baylor with the assunption that his son would go and he did indeed commit. Then he left Baylor and I am intrested to see how long his dad is employed at Baylor after his son bolted for greener pastures.

His dad is a good coach. I am sure if they let him go he will find another job quickly.

As I understand it, G.J. Kinne always wanted to go to UT, but he wasn't "offered" until John Brantley backed out of his verbal commitment.

I can't blame the kid for wanting to go to school in Austin rather than Waco. But then I'm a UT alum and so I'm a little biased.
