That reminds me of story our maintenance guy here at the office told me.

We were talking one day while he was changing out a light bulb, and I mentioned that I went to school in Coahoma. He told me his wife used to teach there. After talking more, I realized she was there when I was still a student and I asked him what her name was. He said, "Linda Sue Dick".......I was kinda confused because I knew his name was Steve Denton.

I said.."oh, yall got married after she was in Coahoma", and he said "no"..his name was originally Steve Denton Dick....but he had the familys name legally changed to Denton when they moved to Midland....he said he was tired of being the only Dick in the phone book!!:D :D

there is also a guy that worked at one of the wings n more here in college station and his name tag said PHUC well u ask me and there is only one way to say that... (gotta remember my personality lol) and about 2 months later we went in there phuc was crossed out and under it it said fook which was a lil better to me lol

I've read with interest the letters that various individuals have sent concerning problems with Suddenlink and its Internet service. Until now, it had not been an issue with me, since I use the service only to access the Internet. I don't use their mail service. I have my own mail server.

Sometime in the last week or so, Suddenlink decided to filter access to external e-mail servers, and now it wants me to set up an e-mail address at Suddenlink so that I can send mail out from home.

I use my laptop at a variety of places, and I'm not particularly thrilled with being forced by any ISP to utilize its servers to send mail, particularly since this would require reconfiguring my e-mail while at the office and changing it back again when I take my laptop home.

As such, I will be discontinuing my cable modem access once my DSL modem arrives in the mail. I will not allow Suddenlink to filter my access to my own e-mail server. Neither should anyone else.

My advice - I am a computer consultant - is that any ISP that filters access of any sort should be dropped like a hot rock.
