Rule of thumb: if a guy is a lock to be a top-five pick in the NBA draft, he jumps. That makes me think that (barring injury) UT's Kevin Durant is probably going to throw his name into the hat after the season.

But my question is this: where do you play him? He's almost 7 feet tall, can work in the high post, and can get some rebounds. By the same token, though, he can also handle the ball like Grant Hill and can spot up from 21 feet out. He's a nice little mix of Hill, Kevin Garnett, and Dirk Nowitzki.

So as an NBA coach, would you put him in the high post, on the outside, or make a hybrid position for him like the Wolves used to do with Garnett? All opinions welcome.

He is great and will be a great NBA player. Everyone knew he would only be in college one year so it is no surprise that soon he will be very rich.

I'd put him at the small forward position early in his career, and have him try to beef up alittle bit, and maybe move into a power forward role later on
