On Friday, Gilmer offensive lineman David Snow gave his verbal commitment to The University of Texas, and the following day, running back/linebacker Justin Johnson committed to Big XII rival Oklahoma.

Official offers won't go out until February 11th.

Both are expected to be among the top-ranked players by every recruiting outlet for the Class of 2008.

Correction. Two third quarter turnovers and only running eight plays in the third quarter.

Cupcake schedule? You can only go with what UIL gives you when district rolls around. Bishop Gorman, Tatum, Daingerfield, Atlanta, Center and whoever else weren't TOTAL cupcakes. Granted, Center, Atlanta and Daingerfield didn't turn out to be as good as expected, but still....

Snow is a junior he'll be back next year along with Johnson...

Brown and Kinne will be at UT next year

Brown and Kinne will be at UT next year this is correct. we have both of these guys back next season. Both will be 2008 graduates. Justin Johnson is a highly reguarded running back but actually may fit the linebacker position better when he gets to college. Justin is a cousin of current Oklahoma reciever Manual Johnson, the qb on Gilmer's 04 team.
