I have to say I'm a little surprised that Phil hasn't posted anything yet!!

Sinton played 3 "games" today. Each lasted 4 innings.
First one at 10am vs. 4A Moody, 2nd against 5A Victoria Memorial and 3rd one against 4A Calallen.

In game 1: 2-0 (I think) Moody. Sinton stranded 6 baserunners in that game. :(

In game 2: 10-3 Sinton over Victoria. Nice show of offense.

In game 3: 2-1 over Calallen. Good defense & offense when it counted!!

Of course, this was just the first outing for the girls. I'm sure the coach saw alot of "little" things that need to be worked on! :D

Tell us about your scrimmages. :)

I agree with what you say P4S. All the teams treated the games like they were as srimmages. The coaches are looking at the players and checking them out so the teams are not at their best yet. Plus like many teams we still have players in basketball and one of our main players was at a conference. Still a good showing against other good softball teams from larger schools. Moody was good in 5A and now they are in 4A and Victoria is a good 5A school as Calallen is in 4A. Good scrimmages and all teams benefited I am sure which is what scrimmages are for.

Bellville has had a couple of scrimmage games now, anyone know how those went?
