Now, can you figure out how they do this? It took me a couple of minutes, but I did.

Ok SPivey - I am sure it's some simple thing - what is it? (besides it's driving me NUTS)

I didn't know this to be true until I started messing around with the numbers, but the difference between any 2 digit number and the sum of it's numbers is always a factor of 9. Notice that every number divisible by 9 has the same symbol. Did that make sense??? :confused:

i figured out how it works...the girl working at our front desk got a kick out of it lol, i let her amuse herself for a while before i showed her how it worked lol
