What are some of the most memorable sports broadcasts that you can remember? Not only for the game itself, but for events that occured before, during, or after the game that were handled memorably by the broadcasters.

1. Plano East-John Tyler 1994 miracle finish. The broadcasters were beside themselves.

2. Al Michaels announcing the Miracle on Ice in 1980.

3. Al Michaels announcing of Giants-A's game 10/17/89 when an earthquake struck San Francisco

4. Howard Cosell drunk in MNF booth at Giates-Eagles game on 11/23/70

I don't know if this was a great broadcast but it had a memorable line it by one of the broadcasters. It was during the Ice Bowl game in Green Bay between the Packers and Cowboys played in 17 below zero weather. Someone brought the sportscasters some coffee (and this was in the booth) and it was so cold that in just a few seconds the coffee turned to ice and he said "Pardon me while I take a bite of my coffee."

Yeah....um....I guess I am kinda partial. BUT, at least he is a good broadcaster...otherwise I would not support him. I tell him when he sucks, LOL!

Or, at least what needs to be worked on. ;)

Are these suppose to be ones we were actually watching/hearing LIVE???

One that I've seen/heard numerous times that I just love is Vin Scully "...A little roller up along first . . . behind the bag . . . it gets through Buckner! Here comes Knight! And the Mets win it!" :D

Also like: Jack Buck - "I don't believe what I just saw!" Kirk Gibson walk off :D

The only one I remember:

Swung, line drive left field! One run is in! Here comes Bream! Here's the throw to the plate! He is...safe! Braves win! Braves win! Braves win! Braves win! Braves win! - Skip Caray's call of Francisco Cabrera's game-winning hit in Game 7.
