I didn't include highschool rivalries because I knew everyone would put their team's chief rival at No. 1, and that would be obvious.

I've always thought that college rivalries were always a little more "heated" than the pros, so I they're more fun to be a part of. In the NBA (the only pro sport that I really keep up with), I have more of a thing against the Rockets than the Mavs. My fiancee and her family are all huge Rockets fans and I love my Spurs, so that makes it a little more fun to me than Mavs/Spurs. But since the Mavs are the better team, they're a much bigger rival to everyone else.

I barely keep up with the NFL and hate both the Cowboys and the Redskins, and I only watch baseball games at the park. I don't know, the Rangers/Stros games that I've been to didn't seem like much of a rivalry to me... just another game with a little added importance.

probably but thats not the point, the point is whoever wins this intense rivarly recieves it.. I'm sure Mark Cuban can go out and buy as many replicas of the NBA championship trophy as he wants, but that doesn't mean anything if you don't actually win it

Haha. I was always a Dolphins fan growing up. I also like the Texans nowadays, but I'm just not as into the pro game as HS or college ball.
