I have a whole eight blocks and 2 stop signs. Sometimes in Bridgeport "rush hour" it takes me an extra 2 minutes. :D

ewwwwwwwwwwwwww.......I use to drive from PLANO to ARLINGTON when I first moved to the metro mess. :hairpunk: :hairpunk:

75 to LBJ to 121 to 360  :crazy1: sometimes for fun I'd go through the airport instead of around it :D

It's roughly 20 minutes right now, but my office is moving to the Woodlands this fall so unless I move too (which I will) it would be an hour one way.

Screw that. That's part of the reason I moved from Austin to Abilene. I used to drive about 15-20 miles to work and it would take at least an hour with traffic.

Now, since moving to Abilene, I drive less than a mile to work and it probably takes about 1-2 minutes. Much better.

The police stop the train and escort me to work, pickup up my white suits from the cleaners, and keep me supplied with cigars and anything else I need, Adidas. :D

No wonder you're so crazy....That's pretty brutal---you pass thru the "belly" of the beast twice a day.

my route going home is different...it's 67 north to 35 north...past AAC :D and up the Tollway...exit Forest (before the tollway/635 bottleneck) and drive to my house! :)

You couldn't pay me enough to go up 75 in the afternoon. I made that mistake one day...never again! :(

Celina is out there but I work in Frisco so my drive is 17 miles one
way. Or 25 minutes with traffic. I drive a Jetta so I spend about
20 bucks a week on gas. Once I had a diesel rabbit and drove
225 miles a week to work. Got 50 to the gallon. Spent 50 bucks
month on diesel...... Those were the good old days. Well not really. I do remember getting mad when gas went up from 26 to 32 cents a gallon thinking how am I going to pay the extra cost.

I have a stop sign on my street and that's it... the speed limit is 40 when I pull out, 55 in about five seconds after pulling out and 70 another five seconds after that...

only bad thing is it's a regular two laner... when you have morning traffic headed out to the plant and 18-wheeler drivers who don't know which entrance to turn into it can really get annoying, but no real jams or anything... no lights... just a plant and a gas station...

This summer with TxDOT the furthest I had to drive was Vernon. Or maybe to Gainsville. The office where I get my truck is 3 minutes outside of town, but to get to a job, on my very first day, my boss just told me to get in a truck and go NORTH of Vernon. I didn't even know that was possible. I could smell the Oklahoma and the casinos. I was like: "Wow, they sure do trust me.":D
