Us old timers here in the hill country have been watching Austin grow into the western Travis County cedar breaks and wondering when it might explode. So many "Junipers" are left as cover for the endangered species, ie: Golden Cheeked Warbler and Black Capped Virio that many homes could be at great risk just as in southern California! The funny thing is, that the junipers are not actually part of the historic landscape of this area, so therefore the little birds probably weren't there either!!!!! Just another government "cram it down our throats" ideology.......
