The Spurs went on a 11-4 run to end the game and force overtime. The game is on ABC and tied at 80 if you feel like watching.

Michael Finley hits the huge 3 with 1.3 sec left to give the Spurs a 96-94 lead. Lakers call timeout.

And the Spurs win!!!

They were down the entire second half, but rallied at the end of the fourth to take it to overtime. Great game.

Good win by the Spurs as they begin on their long 8 game "Rodeo" road trip. Spurs have their next 3 games vs Utah, Phoenix and Washington. This road trip could be a make or break stretch of their season.

Comments like these are part of what makes being a fan of the Flagship Franchise of the NBA so much fun! I see why Yankees fans enjoy being Yankees fans so much.

I'm never that way to begin with really... the only reason I'm kinda that way with the Yankees is because it makes for an interesting media circus...

The Lakers, though? Never was that way with them, and for sure have had no reason to be since '02...

I watched the Lakers play the rockets twice in Houston and there are many Laker Jerseys in the stands. At the last game, two of them were in the cheap seats and they were told they have won an upgrade to sit in floor seats. Most of the Rocket fans were booing that they would upgrade Laker fans. On the way down, the Houston mascot led them through a door that ended up locking them outside the arena. I know it was staged, but it was very funny.

I think if the Spurs win 5 of 8 they'll be great. They'll be fine even if they go .500. They normally find "their groove" on this roadtrip.

Sometimes these extended road trips can really bring a team together. I totally expect the Spurs to be a major force in the playoffs.

It's funny, but this year the Spurs aren't looking to trade as the normally do this time of year. They might not have the best record now but they aren't out of it at all and have a veteran group. Phoenix has shocked a few at this point, I think. Dallas has Avery, and that might do it for them.:nerd:

Spurs could lose all 8 and would probably still be fine. They always cruise late in the season. Oh, and Duncan is a whole 'nother animal come playoff time. Im not really worried at all. We do have the 3rd best record in the NBA and havent been playin ball well lately. They will come out of it like they always do
