Everyone that I know has at least gone to a couple of concerts, but not me. My cousins are always catching Metallica or Ozzfest in San Antonio and I never get to go. The one time I actually won tickets to a concert, it got rained out. Someday, I will go. Mark my words. Someday.

I've been to Willie Nelson, Pat Green, Roger Creager (2), Kevin Fowler, Cooder Graw, Django Walker, Charlie Robison, and probably a few more that I'm leaving out...

but the best concert I ever went to was Blue Man Group.

The Pink Floyd concert was in the early 80's. I think it was after The Animals (?) album. They had a giant exploding pig. All the really messed up folk were blown away by that. Too funny. Too long ago!

Im not a big Waters fan. He is a talented. But it is to my understanding the he is the reason the band went their seperate ways and why they are still not on good terms. Beside IMO Gilmour is the best Pure Musician/Guitarist to ever play. I know that will draw a lot of controversy but the guy was truly an amazing guitarist and musician in general. The only concert I can think of that rivals Gimours 1994 "Pulse" was Roger Waters "The Wall" Live at Berlin in 1990 I believe. just because of the set they used. They put on the best show out of anybody IMO. Im sure someone will disagree, lets hear it.

You are officially an old hippie! I don't feel so ancient anymore after reading your list.

I won't say how many I've seen but the Eagles and Jimmy Buffett at Robertson Stadium in the summer of 1976 was the best. Mr. Buffett stole the show! "God's own Drunk" is still my favorite live song! The Purple Passions flowed and the Torpedos burned all around.

White Snake, Y&T and Quiet Riot!

I was 18 and that was my first concert, I saw things going on there that shocked this innocent girl.....I haven't been to another one.

I DID find out that Chris Daughtry (4th place on American Idol last season, and my hands down favorite) is going to be playing in Odessa next month, I may go see him!:p

I saw a ton of concerts in the 60's and 70's in my wilder days.

Here are 2 big concerts from 1969---

Jimi Hendrix at the Dallas Convention Center.

Janis Joplin at the Texas International Pop Festival in Lewisville. This festival happened about 6 weeks after Woodstock.
