Oh...oh...I lied...I've seen the Devil Wears Prada (loosely based on my mother in law).

Meryl gets my vote hands down! THAT LADY NEEDS AN OSCAR ALREADY!

Yes, it is. I was very happy to see it get some props!!

Buffy - Meryl has been nominated 14 times (including this years nom) and has won twice for Kramer vs. Kramer (supporting actress) and for Sophie's Choice (best actress). She did an awesome job in Devil Wears Parada. She was fabulous in that crappy movie.

I've seen Pursuit of Happyness...and I REALLY want to see Letters from Iwo Jima. I'm not positive...but I believe most, if not all, of that movie is in Japanese. Clint Eastwood and many of the same cast/crew that did Flags of Our Fathers (the American story at Iwo Jima) put together this film from the Japanese perspective.

BIG BLUE DEFENSIVE END

I rented this for my 10 year old daughter last weekend thinking it was a kid movie got it home and discovered it was rated R. Took the movie back and traded it for Step Up (which I didn't really like).

I should have kept the darn movie and watched it myself!

I really wouldn't recommend the movie for kids, but it is a good one. It hits home for me, as my younger sister is a participant in such pageants, which I absolutely hate.

Yeah but to be nominated that many times and to be such an incredible actress...she should own at least as many as Jack Nicholson if not more.

Adaptation...she was greatness in that movie. LOVE THAT MOVIE!
