To Pro Baseball Players - If you are going to strike time your stike years to be in Aug - Sept 2004, 2008, or 2012. That is right - time it for an olymphic year. That way we can have our best players in the Olymphics and really put the rest of the world in their places. Even without you our college players do a great job against the Pros from Cuba and other countries and even won in 2000 but if we had you we could really put them in their places sort of like we did with our dream team in basketball in 1992 and 1996 (they did it again in 2000 but it was close because some players like Shaq were selfish and wouldn't play for their country). I am not saying to strike but if you are you need to time it better. Can you imagine what we would do if we had our best pros in the Olymphics? They should just give us the Gold and let everyone else fight for the silver.

Even in the recent Pan American games our college baseball players and women basketball players got beat by Cuba for the Gold. The players that were there did a great job and the silver is nothing to be ashamed about but if we had a few of our pros it would have been no contest to the US teams. So women WNBA players - time your strike too so the USA can use you. If we had Lisa Leslie and Cheryl Swoops on the USA women's team we would have beat Cuba's pros.
