I use Tax Act (http://taxactonline.com). Totally free. A bit ad-heavy, but very easy to use.

how quick can you get your refund with one of the freebies? i use turbotax online and pay a few bucks to get the return deposited in 2 or so weeks

Its taken about 8-12 working days for me the past couple of years. I filed it on the 12th, they submitted on 15th (the earliest) and should be in my bank by Friday.

I do the same. Plus I like that turbotax backs up old returns. I can easily pull up my previous year's return so that I have my AGI # handy to be able to quickly use the electronic signature. Though I think I saw that it jumped from $10 to $15 this year...

ahh...the joys of owning your own business. I had to wait on two companies to get me my forms (they did last week) and NOW I have to wait on my student loan form to come in so I can report the $150 or so in interest that I paid...realize that it's not going to effect the deductions that I'm taking...and move on in life! I guess I could just file w/o it and then send in an ammended return...but that might look suspicious since I had to do that last year when I didn't receive a form until mid-February!
