Had a small private family wedding in Ft. Worth on Saturday.. It was awesome! She was absolutly beautiful! I will post pics as soon as I get them!!

I really liked a girl when I was younger and used to pick her up and take her to town to the movies, etc. She was a sweet and very pretty girl but she fell in love with other guys and I never did get her back even though we were good friends. She married a guy and one time when on the job and staying at a motel out of town I found out her inlaws ran the motel. They told me she had got in trouble writing hot checks and they got her enough money to fly to Seattle. Instead of using the money to buy the ticket she kept it and paid for it with a hot check.
I guess she got out of the mess. I got a call years later saying that life's pressures were too much for her and she had killed herself at age 38. I was married then but it was a tragedy. She was still young. I hadn't seen her in 18 years but I remember her as being a sweet and pretty girl. What a tragic waste. :(

I stopped in Skidmore one time on the way to do a job in Beeville. This was before I was married and long ago. It was at the Diamond Shamrock and I filled up with gas. A nice pretty young attended was there and we visited a few minutes. She was from Wisconsin. I don't know how she wound up in the nice small town of Skidmore or maybe she commuted from Beeville. It could have been that she had a husband that was stationed at the Naval Station that was in Beeville at the time. I don't think she was wearing a ring when I talked with her. The Shamrock there has been closed for years and I don't know whatever became of her.
