High Speed Chase
Three Gatesville residents face charges in Burleson County after leading authorities on a high-speed chase through two counties Sunday.
It started in Somerville when the trio allegedly left a gas station without paying for their fuel.
A Burleson County sheriff's deputy spotted them on Texas 36 between Somerville and Caldwell and the pursuit began.
Authorities say the female driver then turned east on Texas 21 and headed toward Bryan before turning around and going back to Caldwell. She then turned north on Texas 36.
The chase continued beyond Milano at speeds in excess of 100 miles an hour
It ended near the intersection of U.S. 77 and Texas 36 just south of Cameron after authorities used a spike strip to flatten their tires.
So far, no identities have been released.
Authorities arrested a man in his 30s, another man in his late teens, and the female driver in her late teens.
All three face a long list of charges, including evading arrest in a vehicle, which is a felony.
