What major streets are around the campus??? Also...why not build a golf course in the middle? It sure looks like they have the setup for it.

However, I don't see the actual football stadium being built until much later....

Actually part of that land IS a golf course...Oso Bay Municipal. The city is turning it over to TAMUCC.

i wonder if they big study that dr. killabrew is having done about the feasibility of Islander Football had this taken into account

They need to build a bridge to connect the Island campus to the Golf campus, even if it is pedestrian-only.

Yeah, EJ road goes through there but it would be nice for there to be some sort of continuity to foster campus life on both sides of the Cayo Del Oso.

What I'm proposing would probably cost too much to include as part of the original plan, but it could be built at a later date. Just build a pedestrian bridge to the other side. It would be really cool if they could tie it in with the architecture of the campus as well.

And if they could do something like this (http://www.chattanoogachamber.com/images/Holmberg_Pedestrian_Bridge_at_First_Street_and_Hun ter.jpg), with the bridge lighting up from below, it would be even cooler.

well poop i went to school there my freshmen year, good to see they are thinking of expanding and good thing its only around the corner, but ennis joslin and nile already have pretty bad traffic. Go Islanders, ill probaly go back there to get my MBA, for now im a Bearkat.
