This was a GREAT game and it was the first time the two teams had met since last year's state final. Ranchview was down 24-14 at halftime and came out and looked like a different team after the half. Vincent McNeil could've won the game at the end of regulation and in the 1st OT for Velt, but missed two shots in the paint. Velt got bailed out in 2OT with a 3 pointer with 12 seconds left. Ranchview still could've tied it again, but they missed a 5 footer at the buzzer.
Gotta hand it to Velt for playing in a VERY hostile environment and all the momentum was with Ranchview in the 2nd half. Still though they found a way to pull out a very big win on the road.
