the guy out a Fresno St. is pretty good, but they had a bad year this year...he does a good job of getting the guys that have a lot of potential

1. Boise State coach
2. Mike Leach at Tech does a good job with less
3. Jeff Tedford at Cal (new contract too)
4. Greg Schiano at Rutgers (but the secret is out)
5. Pat Hill at Fresno State

How? According to pro scouts, LSU was the most talented team in the country (2 losses in rugged SEC). He walked into a good situation after Saban. IMO, not a great game coach at all. Remember the time-out fiasco?

maybe the Wake Forest guy as well, that team was horrible a couple years ago, i think we (baylor) might have been able to beat them 3 years ago or so, now they are winning conference championships

Good point, & one of the 3 smallest D1 schools too (w/ Rice & Tulsa). That guy has done a great job at Wake.

the guy from wake is great coach...

les miles is a great coach, and a great guy, but he did walk into a great situation. NO doubt..i can't wait until next year when he gets all the BIG teams at home and see how see does, and so i can use my season tickets!

Greg Schiano. hands down. to have built the kind of team he has now with what he had to start with. Les Miles is underrated as well, but he also came into a team that has enough talent to play for the NC every year. The coach from Cal as well. He does a good job from getting USC's leftovers in recruiting.
