I have no idea the "official" temp here in downtown Cuero (the "phone time and temp" guy said 19º and I don't think that's right - but my car thermometer said 29º when I came to work @ 8am) but it's pretty cold and overcast. School starts @ 10am - Luckily what moisture was on the roads yesterday, dried out before it got down to freezing, so the roads are open.

Austin, TX: IT'S COLD:mad:

LOTS of ice. My job ( a bank) is closed until at least 1, probably for the day. Be careful if you're coming in as the weather does not look to be getting any better.

17 and clear. Still about 1 1/2 - 2 inches of sleet in my driveway. Haven't been able to see out of my driver door mirror since last Thursday (It's still got ice on it). Only one person hates Kansas weather worse than me, and she's moving!

There is a light on at the end of the tunnel, though.

A couple of blocks off the water in Portland...

37 degrees and cloudy. No precip. as of yet. Yesterday out in Calallen there was a light sleet falling, but that might have just been for a couple of minutes...I had to walk through it to get to a class though.

For sure....stupid city dwellers.....like the police and emergency crews don't have enough to worry about ....they should impose HUGE fines on the people they are having to tend to in these accidents.......it's sleeting like crazy here....adding still another layer of ice on the roads....people need to use comman sense...besides, who doesn't want a "snow day"???? This morning around 6 or so, I was watching the KXAN weather. They went "live" to one of their folks who was at a convenience store in the middle of nowhere on Hwy 281. She decided to slip & slide around the parking lot to "show" how slick it was. I was secretly hoping that she would fall flat on her butt. Is that evil?

Its right around 32 or 33 in San Angelo, really not that bad. Some snow flurries, not too bad at all. I wore a light jacket this morning to class and was fine. It was funny watching all the people walk around with parkas and such on.

It's a balmy 29 here in Bobcat land. I would guess off season will begin at 2:30 this afternoon as always. The voluntary lifting begins at 5:30 am  everyday also. Actually that is where we get our luck, and our schedule gets made easy. You know the part about how we never play anyone. I guess they get that hashed out every off season at around 5:30 am.

Anyway it is 29. :D
