We went to HEB in Cedar Park last night, not because of the "predicted  " ice storm, but because we were out of milk, bread, coffee, etc. It wasn't packed.....but the pickings were slim. Of course, it's nowhere close to freezing.

Until it stops hovering around 40 degrees here in Austin, I'll believe there's ice coming when I see it.

They've been freaking out about the storm all weekend, even going to far as to hinder me from going out last night, and all I see is a whole bunch of nothing.

It's pretty frozen here which is weird because in the five years I've lived here I've seen it snow once and get icey another so I'm not diggin it. West Texans though don't ever seem to care about the ice and drive through it.

People overreact way to much when these things blow in. The media in Dallas swears a new ice age is coming.

Pretty hilarious watching the weather outta the metroplex the last few days. They are seriously overreacting.

Here in Bridgeport... 29°F with slight freezing drizzle and a thin layer of ice on everything but the roads.

C'mon Seahawks!!!!

After the horrific ice storm we had here in Northeast Texas a few years ago, we're pretty gun-shy. A tree came through our roof that Christmas morning (had to have 6 cut down) and we were out of power and water for 8 days. It was like a war-zone around here after trees fell for 2 days and the transformer stations blew and power lines went.
Albertson's was packed an hour ago, but the shelves were still well-stocked. Texarkana isn't supposed to get as much as a lot of areas have though. I hope that's right.
