I might try this sometime. I have a ps2 with a DRE and a controller that makes your guy goes up on sports games, no way they could find either one out though unless they will actually stick a game in.

I would get one but
a) 360 graphics > PS3 graphics (don't believe me? Look for some comparison shots, they're EVERYWHERE)
b) XBox 360 & Xbox live beat the hell out of Playstation's online network and

c) Gutair Hero II is coming out for the 360 in March

Yes I finally tried the stupid game and it's pretty damn nifty. Plus, there's gonna be exclusive tracks for the XB

The graphics issues aren't because of the ps3. It has a much greater capability than the 360. Some of the issues in initial games stems from the game designers not taking advantage of the chance to improve the graphics for the ps3.

xbox live is easily worth having over a ps3. and halo 3 will be arriving sometime in the next century, and it's going to be bad A

I picked up Lost Planet last night and it's pretty cool so far. Plays like Halo/Gears of War but you also get to jump into a big mech unit from time to time....Mech units that have friggin CHAINSAWS....yeah....good stuff. Haven't taken it online just yet....

Keep your PS2. There are tons of games that don't play on the PS3 yet if ever. So if you have favorites for the PS or the PS2 I'd just keep it, 100 bucks credit isn't really that much for all that. I'll try to find a list of games that won't play from what I hear it's quite long.

From what I've read, about 90% of the PS2/PS1 games will play. Problem is, a lot of the PS2/PS1 games that aren't progressive scan look just downright ugly. See the following links:

Alot of xbox games can't play on the 360 either
