This is awesome! (http://www.falkensteincastle.com/)

I'm so splurging for bagpipes. My groomsmen will be referred to as The Band of Merry Men.

I want one that has sharks swimming around it, along with some piranahas.

Yes, a moat and draw bridge would have been awesome, along with a portcullis to keep out the paparazzi, but this castle is awesome enough.

I wonder if there are any dragons which need to be slain.

We have seasbass.

Seabass?

Mutated seasbass.

Are they ill-tempered?

Very.

Ok, well that's a start.

It's great for the pictures. It sure is pricey, but they do an excellent job with the photos. I think it was over $7,000.00 just to hold a wedding there. I'm not sure what all the extras cost, but your bride will love it. Getting married there should get you through the first year relatively unscathed, lol. After that she'll be just like everyone elses's wife, lol. Just kidding, congrats!:)

Sadly, no food or drink is allowed on castle grounds. :(

Which is one of the reasons we've changed the venue yet again. :p

Now we're aiming at Turtle Creek Ballroom in San Antonio. Very good price, gorgeous hall, and they're throwing in a honeymoon to Vegas if we have the wedding on a Sunday.

Any of you guys ever been there? My fiancee had her high school prom there and she loved it.

I got married in a grand granite edifice built in 1893. It is not a castle but it is just as large as most castles. It is in a stately city built as a fort. I recommend this alternative to any of you young folks getting married this year. I have been married 28 years so this place must be good luck (nothing else could have kept us together that long).
