From the looks of the local radar, there is a line of freezing rain and snow from a point 1 hour north to 1 hour west of here. Looks like Vernon is getting some freezing rain but just west of there it turns to snow. Hope things don't get too ugly. All day yesterday the local news stations were warning us of the high potential for an ice storm with the biggest concern being extended periods of power outages from downed powerlines. It's already raining and the temp is only 35 and dropping.

Yikes....we aren't even supposed to get it until Sunday last I heard...maybe that has changed though.:(

as long as it stays north of I-20 today I'll be happy. After about 9PM tonight...it can freeze wherever it wants to! ;)

As long as it doesn't get here till tomorrow evening. I have tickets to the Lady Islanders game tomorrow in Corpus Christi at noon! :)

We had a retirement party in Odessa at lunch today.....Like you said it was around 60 deg and we could watch the temp fall as we drove the 100 or so miles home. What a difference!
