Very bright kid, and young, probably has a strong family background, I mean his Great-Grandparents, Grandparents, and parents all played a major role in his upbringing. In today's world (USA) The Family is more like every man or woman for themselves, as soon as a person leaves home for college, military, career, or whatever they get as far away from family as they can.

The old saying that it takes a village to raise a child is true. The more people who love and nuture your child, whether they are family or not, will make him/her a better adult.
