Some interesting #s I came across. MLB could not be doing better in the eyes & wallets of America & beyond.

1. Record attendance last year. More teams than ever before topped the 3 million mark in attendance.

2. Revenues of $5.2 billion were reported by the 30 clubs in 2006. This is an average of $173 million per club (thus the crazy $$ contracts).

3. Brand new tv deal with ESPN & TBS, among others this season. Record #s for that deal too.

Can't wait for Spring baby! (Fire away Pancho, it's that sport you don't like or secretly desire to have been good at, not sure!).

Well they didn't make one cent off of me.

I would rather mow my neighbors yard than go watch standaround.

Panchita should have used that broom! Baseball is America's pastime Pancho.

Track is SOOOO exciting, my bad. Lots of left turns, & my niece runs it at Texas. It takes all I have to go watch her!

(I do respect the athleticism required, it's just all the down time b/t events. To each his own.)
