Obviously.
He was out most of the year with a broken collar bone.
Some team will get a good deal on him.

The only concern I have about Peterson is his durability. I wonder if he will be able to stand the pounding that a NFL RB takes from week to week. I know he has tremendous stamina.

reminds me of Larry Johnson somewhat...

this is a guy who would of been a higher pick after his freshman year then after his junior year

He should be the first running back taken.

Smart move for him to go ahead and go. OU will have no QB next year, and he would of been splitting carries with the backup. Plus OU could be under sanctions for cheating again.

he goes but
injuries are a concern
1st round pick
but take out the insurance and
not too much garenteed up front
put he plays in 80 or more percent
he may last
he will not be lt or johnson
but could be a good back
a lot depends on where he goes

Thank God.. Answer to my prayers.. Though Allen Patrick is no slouch either as his predecessor.. He will be a good back. durability will be an issue. but he is worth it when he is healthy. no doubt. He will be top 10, maybe top 5. depends on if a team trades up to get him. what team is in desperate need of a RB.

Exactly, & maybe top 5 if he checks out physically.

Split carries? No, Allen Patrick (good back too) got on the field when AD got hurt. He would have been the man again if he had stayed.

Texans pick #8. I hope somehow he slides to them, but they may screw it up again anyway! Marshawn Lynch & Michael Bush are the next best RBs as of now.
