He signed with Indiana because he thought Isaiah Thomas was going to be the head coach and now he is upset that they fired Thomas. Now he has to play with a team that may have discontent problems. He could have been playing with San Antonio but he chose not too and it was crazy of him to not play on a team that had Tim Duncan. He will make his millions but probably never be able to be on an NBA championship team. Also Jason Kidd made the same mistake and will probably never be on an NBA Championship Team even though they may make the finals since they are in a week division. Boy did those guys mess up! Free Agents of 2004 take note.

And how about them Spurs beating the Nets for the NBA championship in basketball.

BEST NBA SERIES WE EVER HAD!! :)

Anybody else notice that Phil C never seems to mention the fact that the Spurs didn't even win their division outright this year???

Bandera didn't win theirs either and they won state...

Last time I checked, you didn't have to win your division to win a championship...

Phil C says the best NBA series we've ever had?

I'd say the best CHAMPIONS we've ever had...

Go Spurs!

Anybody else notice that Phil C never seems to mention the fact that the Spurs didn't even win their division outright this year???Neither did the rockets back in 94. They went in as the 6th seed and won the whole thing. That's why they call in the "play"offs. You have to play well or else you're "off".

Is anyone from DI college football reading this?

Spurs best champions ever??? Now thats a stretch. I dont know if you could compare them to the Lakers and Celtics teams for the 80's, the Bulls of the 90's and the 2001 Lakers. And also, the Rockets had the best record in the league in 94 and won the title. It was 95 were they were the 6th seed and won it.

Also don't forget that Everman didn't even win their district last year either yet they won another state championship. The final one is what counts. Yes Division 1 college football is the only sport that does not have a satisfactory playoff system because of one main rea$on that we know. HOW ABOUT THEM SPURS! 2003 NBA CHAMPIONS BY BEATING THE NETS!! BEST NBA SERIES WE EVER HAD! :)
