Forney drive stalls at Carthage 20 but they kick a 36 yd field goal. Forney 3 Carthage 0 about 5 minutes left in the first quarter.

Carthage returns kick off to the 30. Make a couple of first downs, had a long run broght back because of a penalty. Then Forney defense gets tough and forces The Bulldogs to punt. Good punt, no return and Forney takes over at the 20.

End of first quarter Forney 3 Carthage 0. Forney's ball.

Ill keep the updates coming. 3 minutes to the half. Forney 20 yard gain brought back--push from behind. Forney 3rd and 14 form 22. Forney gets 9 4th and 5 and has to punt. Bad punt off the side of foot still gets decent distance. Carthage takes over on their own 49.

Lost the feed for a few seconds. Carthage turns ball over dont know if fumble or interception. Forney's ball on 41. lost the feed again

Defense has dominated the game. A couple of key penalties one by each team stalled drives.
