But if BCS goes plus one then we can work on plus 2 and then maybe plus 4 to get it there. It would be a start. I really don't think that Boise State could have beat Florida or any of the top teams but they deserved a shot on the field of play. Also so many lucky things happened for Florida to get in which confirms the need for a playoffs. Heck after what Florida did yesterday it confirms maybe Auburn actually deserved a shot a few years ago that it didn't get.
And after Ohio State getting whipped it just shows that perfect record teams aren't always the best.
You are only going to hit it lucky once in a while like UT vs USC last year (and I still would have preferred a playoff system last year).
Hopefully we are slowly on the road to getting a real playoff system maybe in 20 years.
