Very optimistic, but I think both are now jinxed for sure.

Hate to say it but more then likely USC. or they will atleast be there. with all the talent coming back and their usual cakewalk through the Pac 10.

What about Appalachian State? They won it this year, too, and with that quarterback, they have to be favorites again.

If North Texas goes undefeated they should be in the BCS...

I like that Pick...

Also.. WVU, if they get better on D, will be stout. Both White and Slaton are returning...

I wouldn't jump on the SC bandwagon just yet. Pete Carroll is on the short list of coaches for the Miami Dolphins job. Owen Wayne Huizenga (sp) flew down to Costa Rica over the w/e to personally meet with Carroll. He's expected to announce his decision in the next few days.

With Michigan returning all of that talent and playing in a conference (Big 10) that doesn't have a lot of depth...they definitely have the potential to run the table and be there at the end.

yes. They have one DT that may turn pro but other than that they don't have anybody going to the pros early.

Michigan and LSU, havent decided which one yet though. Has Jarret from USC decided if hes leaving yet. IF he stays, they may end up with it too.

Ummm. . .doesn't Michigan lose like 7 offensive linemen or something? If so I wouldn't pick them.

2007 NC: Prairie View A&M...sure not Texas A&M with that schedule & Fran at the helm! IMO Fran's final campaign too.

Shame on me but I have zero faith in him. We do return 17 starters though.

They lose 3 1/2 OL guys. I put in the 1/2 cuz one guy rotates in and out. Maybe you shouldn't be so high on Texas then since they'll be losing their key guys on the OL...wait that'll never happen!

Lay off the Haterade Adidas! I misspoke and should have said LINEMEN. . .not just O-Linemen.

They lose Mark Bihl, Lamar Woodley (bad bad man), Michael Knill, Reuben Riley, Mike Kolodziej, and Alan Branch just declared for the NFL. THey also got it handed to them by USC who wasn't exactly dominant the entire season. Henne and Hart just haven't developed into a killer combo yet and I doubt they will next year either.

If you look at their class breakdown (which, since I do my homework, have). . .you'll see that their '06 class was Senior heavy and they're pretty light on Juniors to step up next year and replace those guys.

Class Breakdown
Freshmen 48
Sophomores 25
Juniors 18
Seniors 30

And when have I ever picked the Horns to win anything on this message board? Hrm? When? Never. That's when. Here. . .I think I found some lime flavored for ya!
