To lighten up the mood on the board, I thought I'd start a poll about which jersey was the worst of all time! I've gotten pictures of some jerseys (some of which had very short lives), that have all been worn in professional sports. Feel free to add your own professional write-ins!

How about the old Chicago White Sox uniform where Bill Veeck had them in shorts a la the local softball team?

Both were horrid! Honorable Mention goes to my Astros rainbow unis from the '80s. Love the Astros unis of today, very classy & sharp.

Those were sweet in the day! The "We are family" Pirates with Stargell, Parker, Garner, Madlock, Tekulve, Moreno, etc. Remember the stars they put on the hats kinda like helmets?

Those Rockets' unis were bad. Looked like George Jetson or something, very cartoonish. Hated them. I liked the old school Rockets' ones when they won 2 titles!

I've looked everywhere but can't find the one I hate, which is the UT basketball jersey's from around the mid to late 90s. I believe Penders was still coach, and apparently he decided to take the team in a different direction.

The home jerseys were white with TEXAS written in VERY VERY cartoonish letters (think bubble letters) across the front. The ribbing around the neck & arms was burnt orange/ black shark tooth. The best part was the shorts, though. The shark tooth was around the edges, as usual, but on the sides the words RUNNIN' HORNS was written (in bubble letters of course) and a basketball playing Bevo was dribbling above it. Completely a ugly uniform classic.

Those were bad. I think Penders designed them in one of his drinking binges! My buddy Benford Williams (Sweeny) was a starter on that team & they hated them too.
