This is who the Texans need.....that guy has an amazing arm...

Who do you think will get him?

Mel Kiper said this morning that if Russell comes out you'll probably see Oakland take Russell #1 and Detroit take Quinn #2. The reason for this is because Quinn is a much better fit in the Detroit scheme than in Oakland. Then again...with Art Shell being fired who knows...

There is still another QB ahead of RP on the LSU depth chart. I'll go double check but I think his name is Matt Flynn...

QB

No. 2 JaMarcus Russell, 6'5", 260, JR **
No. 15 Matt Flynn, 6'2", 228, JR **
No. 11 Ryan Perrilloux , 6'2", 222, RS FR
No. 12 James Welker, 6'3", 229, SO walk-on

The Texans need someone like Troy Smith in the 1st round. And another RB in the 2nd then some more o-line!

After starting quarterback JaMarcus Russell was injured in the 2005 SEC Championship game against the University of Georgia Bulldogs, Flynn finished the game for Russell. He was then given the nod to start for the Tigers in the 2005 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl against the University of Miami Hurricanes. He led the Tigers to a 40 to 3 route of the Hurricanes.

Flynn is the only non-starting quarterback in LSU history to have three touchdown passes in a single quarter (against North Texas).

This kid is a moron. He said how he would come into Texas and start ahead of VY, and guranteed to win the Heisman as a freshman only to end up signing with LSU and riding the bench.

NOOOOO!!!!!

The Cowboys need linemen in this draft!!! on both sides of the ball!!! They had better not waste a pick on a quarterback or running back!
