A disturbing violent trend

interesting article in ESPN 2nd page ed. talks about darrent williams and the glorification of violence in the black community. thought it was rather daring for espn, but what do yall think?

Why? It's an honest conversation.

It's a sad day when people are afraid to give an honest report for fear of being called racist. I know I don't have the courage to step up, which is why we need more leaders within the minorities. Just my opinion.

Nice Article, Bold, but nice. I only say nice because they left out a very important period in Negro HIstory(not African Americans). SLAVERY , see most people don't believe it, but SLAVERY IS VIOLENCE. Being oppressed for that long of a period, and still facing uphill battles everyday, ones mindset could be one of self distruction, it's called survival mode every human, animal, and warm blooded mammals have it. The producers of Scarface and the God Father aren't black, the makers of guns aren't black. The old western movies portrayed no blacks, but there was violence. Even in the Roman empire(no blacks) you had violent battles, man vs man, man vs animal, and so on, before Christ there was violence, after Christ there was violence, and there will always be violence, but to single out a race, and say we glorify violence is crazy. I suggest every one read the Willie Lynch letter(Black or White, or purple or blue) what ever your nationality is, read this Willie Lynch Letter. WWW.WillieLynch.com I feel some of the things in that letter still goes on today. just my two cents.

It rings true. It is edgy but in my opinion accurate. And it is not a racial issue so much as it is a cultural issue involving a race. It does not have to be true but the Cowboys have seen some of this stuff up close as well thru many things that have happened.
And you are right when you say how many times is it a white boy
