Surprisingly enough, Region I has only claimed 5 State Titles in 3A over the past 41 years (1970-2010): Vernon, Southlake Carroll x 2, Everman and Abilene Wylie.

Region II has 22 counting Henderson this year pending the Coldspring-Carthage game

Region III has 16 pending the Coldspring-Carthage game

Region IV has 11

...also just noticed that EVERY 3A Region III Champ from BOTH divisions has played in the State Championship for 5 years running (2006-2010) Chapel Hill and Coldspring being the Region III representatives this year.
