Congratulations to SLC on another mythical national title! Just showing once again that the best High School Football in the country is played here in the Great State of Texas! They are hands down the best team in high school football in ANY state. I'd love to see them play De La Salle sometime.

I think it is nationally accepted that Texas plays the best football. Everybody but Florida and California agree. So when SLC dominates the way that they do, they deserve number one in the nation. The only team that gave them any kind of game was Euless Trinity, and honestly, they should probably be number two on that list. SLC won state with all of their players throwing up, and won by two touchdowns. That is domination. SLC is, and should be, the number one team in the nation.

IMO - I dont think any poll is any indication whatsoever about which state plays the best football .....

SLC is good - but there is no way to know if they are the best team in America, IMO

I think that's a fair staement, 3AFan. The only indicator you could use would be to look at interstate games over the years. I'm going to guess that Texas teams have probably won the majority of these games. But I agree, the DMN poll is no better than a BCS poll or any other in this regard.

exactly what is say.....trinity could have esily went the other way and won that game against slc but still they get no love when there is a 2 loss team on there.....i mean c'mon......on any given night trinity could take any team in the nation....thats bull for them to not even be in the top 25.....anybody know what the smallest margin of victory was this season besides SLC
