Here's the list recently released by the Houston Chronicle. Tank Carder from Sweeny was the only kid named from 3A or below (rest were all 4A & 5A kids, plus a couple of Privates). The Greater Houston Area encompasses over 100 high schools in a very expansive area of course.

We all know my thoughts on McGuffie, won't get into those.
Whittaker is a great player.
Dean is quite possibly the best power back I have ever seen in high schol.
Proctor is a great decision maker.
Saenz is going to be a big time collegiate star. Huge upside.
Thompson is a good d-lineman.
And Tank Carder is a great leader.
