Slaton plays in the big east, yes, but for WVU. The Ville has Michael Bush, who broke his leg earlier this year, and Brian Brohm. Slaton played yesterday, and took himself out of the game, saying he was hurting the team staying in...

I'd like to see the Demon Deacons take it.

kinda stinks cuz "the new girl" is a Wake grad...but as long as she doesn't have high hopes for them then I don't feel bad saying that the Cards will get the W! ;)

Shrug. Who cares? I'm picking Wake just because I'm tired of Big Least fans yapping about how swell their conference is and whatnot.

Who said the Big 12 was great? I've never said the Big 12 was anything other than average this year. It has stunk to high heaven this year (0-14 vs. ranked opponents). Usually the Big 12 gets a bad rap and then performs well during bowl season, but not so much this time around.

Still, with 7 out of the 12 teams having Sophomore or younger QBs it looks like the conference will be making a comeback.
